Born in Rock Sound, Eleuthera in 1964, Richard M. Cates earned his B.S. in Business Administration at Florida Southern College in 1989. He became an Articled Law Student in 1989 and was called to The Bahamas Bar in 1992. Cates is a member of The Bahamas Bar Association and practices Real Estate Law, Estate Planning and Corporate Law.
