 Carey G. Leonard | Senior Associate
Carey G. Leonard, Attorney-at-Law was called to the Bahamas Bar in 1977. Born in 1950, Mr. Leonard was educated at Trinity College School in Ontario, Canada. Mr. Leonard’s legal expertise spans more than three decades in the areas of Corporate and Insolvency Law, Commercial Law, Trust & International Tax Law and Aviation Law.
He is the former General Counsel of The Grand Bahama Port Authority Group of Companies, during which time he brought to successful completion a number of multi-million dollar transactions, including the sale of a pharmaceutical company, resort and land Development Company. He also has extensive knowledge and experience in dealing with all aspects of the Hawksbill Creek Agreement.
Mr. Leonard has served on the Bahamas Government Airport Advisory Board and the Blue Ribbon Commission on National Health Insurance. He is a former president of The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and a former lecturer for the Bahama Bar Association on Conveyancing.

 Jacqueline H. Banona | Registered Associate
Jacqueline H. Banona was born in Uganda, East Africa. Ms. Banona obtained her Bachelor of Laws Degree at Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda. Ms. Banona completed her post graduate Bar Course at the Law Development Centre in Kampala, Uganda. Ms. Banona was admitted to practice in the High Court of Uganda in 2005 and is certified by the Supreme Court of the Bahamas to practice as a Registered Associate with these chambers. Ms. Banona's main area of practice is Civil Litigation.
