Michael R. Scott

Michael Ross Scott was born in Nassau in 1951. He earned his B.A. in 1973 at MacMasters University in Ontario, Canada. Scott was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales (Gray’s Inn) in July 1976 and to The Bahamas Bar in August of that year. He is a member of The Bahamas Bar Association. Scott’s practice areas include Commercial Litigation, Admiralty Practice, Ship Finance & Registration, Professional Negligence, Insurance Litigation and Intellectual Property Litigation, including passing off, Financial Services, Insolvency and Financial Trusts Litigation.
